With both Winchester Cathedral and Winchester College close at hand, we are well-served with glorious music all year round. I can’t sing in tune and am in awe of those who can. Being a member of a choir or choral group must be a wonderful experience, but a close second is being in the audience. Handel’s Messiah was performed by Glee Club under the direction of Christopher Tolley at New Hall and the sheer number of people all singing their hearts out together was hugely memorable. I like to think these jugs can sing.
